Letters from the GAA

The GAA is wanting to know if you would be interested in taking either a NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) or CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) class. Below is an explanation of both classes: NALP was developed to provide students with a complete background in the leasing and marketing dutis of a professional. This course is perfect for your leasing staff and/or marketing staff. The class consists of 7 programs and include: Keys to Success in Leasing Leasing and the Internet Leasing Demonstration & Resolving Objections Legal Aspects Rental Policies and Procedures Telephone Presentations The Leasing Interview & Qualifying Residents CAM was developed to provide the hallmark training for on site manager professionals. This course is perfect for assistant managers as well as managers. The class consists of the following programs: Fair Housing Financial Management Human Resource Management Risk Management Legal Responsibilities & Government Relations Property Maintenance for Managers Management for Residential Issues Marketing Adding Value w/Technology Community Analysis We are thinking about starting up one of these classes in late January but want to know what your interests are. We're also going to be starting up the CAMT class in late January given that we didn't have much interest this time.
